Its origin is uncertain, probably is believed to be a cross between a Buth Jolokia and a simple Trinidad Scorpion.
The flavor is fruity and the scent is very spicy like tropical fruit. It has a really extreme level of hotness. On 1 March 2011, the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T has won the Guinness World Record for the level of spicy, with a value of 1,463,700 Scoville degrees. Theoretically T.S. Butch T is 40% hottest of Buth Jolokia or Ghost chili.
