The organic farm
The organic farm "La Casetta" is set in the green and sunny hills of Val Menocchia , in the area of Massignano (AP), at an altitude of 120 meters. It 's born in 2000, for the desire of owners to change their lifestyle and to find back the real flavors of the food today standardized by industry .
Thanks to its special position it enjoys a perfect climate, free of long frost and moisture. Far from the streets of major roads and in a raised position with respect to the neighboring farms, La Casetta is naturally protected from indirect pollution. It currently has m2. 80.000 of land with an usable area of m2. 60,000.
The farm is entirely organic and is controlled and certified by Bioagricert. The productions ranging from breeding of chickens for meat production and eggs to season vegetables, from the cultivation of wheat to legumes, in addition to the olives to get olive oil with excellent features.
Particular attention is paid to the biodiversity of cultivated varieties against the globalization of the food market.
